so this morning i made this mess of a crossing to fix the single track that was connecting three tracks together. i figured i would share it with everybody and see if anybody else has any messy crossing from when you just can be bothered to fix the rest of the tracks to fit in a good crossing

In my experience it is a good idea, to link only three rails together. Not more. And leave space between to the next crossing. Which there isn't obviously.

But a good thought is - what I can see in the pic - how can I make me enough space. And there I see more than enough.

So: A good idea would be to move the upper part a lot more up. The lower part a bit down.
Keep two rails between upper and lower part and think, that they are all just 3-way switches. Makes the whole construction a lot easier.

Interesting. But, yeah, if that is the directions, the train can go, why not? :D
