as for log, i didn't thought about saving it, when i reported problem, and game has been already restarted few times, so not adding that one. i did add save before i visited coal res field, that spawned in water. it's north east from mainbase. you can see it on map

i did place landfill under coal field, to be able to mine there, so it's no big issue for me, it just looks wrong :D that's all

Was this map created with latest RSO or an earlier version?
I did some changes to rng recently and I can't reproduce this ore layout.
Are you sure that you have unmodified RSO?

it possible map was made with earlier version of RSO, and yes, i'm positive it's unmodified version, or at least, it's version from mod portal. only difference between creation of map, and current state is loader-redux mode, that one was not present when it was created. i can upload elder save, but i don't know if saves contain mod version, in factorio ui it shows latest versions unfortunately.

oldest save is from 2nd September, i believe game might have been created that day.

since i swap between multiple saves and also playing some hosted games, there is not much progress over time, as you might have noticed :D

Thanks for this save - it reproduced the issue with older RSO version and it's fixed in 3.4.4.
