Using the latest (3.3.6) with a new map (just generated right before the test), I can connect once but if i disconnect from the server and try to rejoin i get this error message in my log file

I had another look at the code - please try 3.3.7 and let me know if it works.

tried old test map and made a new map same error both times, connecting once seems to be fine but once you exit then reconnect is when this occurs

Please try to remove orechaos mod and see if issue repeats. I think it might not recover the old save since there is no way to fix it there but it shouldn't break with new save.
Edit:
Please reproduce the issue with mod attached to this post and post the full log file.
I've added some special logging to it that will dump to log whats going ont. It should be enough to tell me if mod is wrong or this needs to go to bug report forums. I also made one more small change that might fix the issue or break more things - so it might not reproduce on this copy.

Old Map, new RSO and ore chaos still installed causes desync when connecting to the map a second time starts loading, desyncs then reloads the map

Removing Orechaos seems to have corrected the issue!!! ive logged in about 7 times now to verify it wasnt a fluke and no errors loading in at all, thank you for all your help in figuring out this issue

I'm still puzzled as whats really going on.
Log from you says that my on_chunk_generated handler is loaded normally. And it shouldn't since it should be disabled and flag for that is in global.
I did some testing and wrote a bug report. Lets see if I'm doing something wrong or there is an obscure bug in game.

Please try again with orechaos mod and 3.3.9. It should also make the old save loadable.

sorry i still havent had a chance to attempt this, life has gotten in the way, but im still planning on it (hopefully this weekend)
