As the title said, when I need something asap, what i need to do is clear entirely the ******* queue.

This is nonsense.

You should be automating things so you can just grab the already-crafted items instead of always having stuff in your manual crafting queue.

I agree that it is annoying to have to clear your entire queue whenever you need to urgently craft one single item. However, I also understand the Factorio developer's concerns about making handcrafting too powerful, because the purpose of the game is automation.

In the above thread, I also offer an alternative solution (which has its own disadvantages, though).
