I noticed there are quite some techs that requires alien science pack to research but don't have a dependency on alien technology, so they clutter the interface as being available but they are really not because you cannot craft the alien science pack.

if they depended on the alien technology node, they wouldn't be available before you get the ability to craft the required science packs.
