Adding Yuoki to existing game

I've added the yuoki mod* to an existing game.

I was able to successfully load the game and build Yuoki buildings such as a washer however the map did not contain any of the new materiais.
I did try to go to an unexplored area of the game to see if they would spawn, but with no such luck.
Is this normal? Do I have to start a new game to be able to fully use Yuoki?

if you go out quite a distance, you will find them. until then you should make pure copper and iron, make the dusts out of the contaminated water and rush the cimota reconstructor
