yes/ in 0.3.15 don't work 50MW generator/ in 0.3.14 all normal

i have made a dumb mistake - leftover from testing ... 0.3.16 is uploaded (@mods-factorio)

Its a mod to an alpha game... there will be some lumps along the way.

Still my favorite big mod set :)


Tried out the tweaks to the steam turbine process. Like the little water loss adds another wrinkle.

Decided to use yuoki speed modules and run turbines to overheaters 1:1. 490MW, ~8MW to run, and uses ~31MJ/s (3 wood briquettes)

yes, you have some water and steam-leaks ;)
in this old sheet -> N(ine).S(even). = 9.7 etc. are some values.
the interest part is the efficency-colum. if you want to optimise to max. 50MW generator has 1.1

Yeah I noticed I could get more/less power using different generators... mostly stuck the red/blue spinning ones on cause they look so damn good :)

Can we get a transparent shell on the 50mw generator to see what is going on inside? :). Like those magazine renditions of cars showing multiple layers of the car at once...

With the updates to valve being on the circuit network I went about reorganizing my 6 steam turbine power plant and had too much room. Still tile-able, but what to do with all that space?

Drop in some statues?

I use the pump for pumping water from the turbine . When network congestion , the pumps will be weaker and weaker work , after which the power to stay

Activate gearbox product. please.

I make system for the beast cage. But gearbox is not working normally.
gearbox don`t make hydraulic pressured water at <steam to MF> for DNA slicer.
DNA slice is not working because of a lack of hydraulic pressured water.
other system has a good working.

if you can, fix a bug at <steam to MF>.

the gearbox is only needed if you want to power a generator with MF. (it's not the only way to raise pressure into MF)

in all other cases you can use direct output MF from Stirling, E-Motor, Solid-Fuel-Engine, Fluid-Fuel-Engine or Turbine.
except the E-Motor all outputs gives you in the right setup - raised MF (with pressure aka heat)

Water-Pump, Fatmice-Cycle-Engine, DNA-Splice can use unpressured (heatless) MF - as working hydraulic fluid.
only for energy-generation you need pressure (heat [in old versions torque])

I seem to be having an issue. Atm playing the mod on 13.8 not a single thing uses Shaft power to work. All power gen works off of "hot water"

The steam turbine atm literally has no use. anyone else have this? or there some kinda config crazyness going on or might another mod be doing things

I noticed the update mods thing in game is not 100% consistent on updating, so verify your installed versions.

Game I am not on 13.8, but whatever was released today. Core version Yuoki_0.3.58 and engine version: yi_engines_0.3.17 and my whole base runs off 6 steam turbines and the MF produced by it...

you need to check the requirements to produce "hot" MF. The turbine needs steam(>274°C) provided from overheater(water-in >94°C) to produce MF.
the hot condensate must taken out from the turbine otherwise it stalls the turbine.

I use this mode. but there is some problem.

If I shake the mouse on the making item icon, The screen frame has been dropped or stopped.
and recipes in technology are same symptom...

This images are used Yuoki-Industries / Addon PFW / switching Addon Engines

not used engines, not any problem.
but used egines, FPS/UPS is very low or stopped.
The recipe is complicated, the symptoms are more severe.

i know this problem and it's annoying as hell, but i don't know the source.
currently it's the best to avoid hover mouse over handcraft-queue ^^
i still looking for a better solution.

i removed in 0.3.18 some recipes to reduce the fps-drops. (package-recipes)
