important note. I wish I could provide better steps to reproduce. the desync happens every time I join the server (literally). my character was desynced when I entered the tank. I'm the only player on my server at the moment.

steps to reproduce

load save
enter the tank at the iron mine.
collect desync report

one thing I noticed was the base was low on power after I expanded the iron mine. I also recently added more inserters at the iron mine.

Thank you for reporting this. In the saves from the desync, you are already in the tank, leaving and reentering did not cause desync for me. Could you confirm that after server+factorio restart you still get desynced?

If you could provide some additional saves before the desync, it might help.

So far i have not been able to deduce anything much useful from desync comparison (maybe it has something to do with logistics? Or maybe energy provider (from grid or the tank))?

If you are trying to just continue the game, entering the game with different name should circumvent your issue.

I am considering this a duplicate of 98445 because there are some inserters in wrong active order and there is low power state.
