[Twinsen] [0.17.69] Crash when loading save from 0.17.64 with new mod

Place for things which are bugs but we have no idea how to solve them. Things related to hardware, libraries, strange setups, etc.

[Twinsen] [0.17.69] Crash when loading save from 0.17.64 with new mod

Post by Futuristick »

I have Factorio on Steam. I just updated from 0.17.64 to 0.17.69. However, when attempting to load a save from 0.17.64 and sync the mod Old Basic Oil Processing, which I wasn't using on the old save, the game crashes. Attached are the logs and a video of this problem.

The video ends at the point where the game crashes.

It seems to crash regardless of the mods.

But it's because the save is corrupted somehow. It's related to the circuit wire connection of some electric pole.
Without steps to reproduce the issue, I'm afraid I can't know how the save got corrupted.

Also try running a memtest and some stress tests and make sure your system is not having issues.
