UI inconsistency with deconstruction tool

If I have an item selected for placing, I can not enable the deconstruction planner or blueprint tool (from the new tool shortcut menu) without first pressing q to drop the selected icon. This behaviour does not happen with the copy or cut tool which clears my selected item and loads the tool.

A second annoying issue is when performing a copy paste operation, the right click delete option is disabled. This is very frustrating if you have not cleared a big enough space prior to starting the paste operation. When you are placing items from inventory you can right click to delete an item without having to clear your selection.
