[0.17.16] Freeze on quit game

[0.17.16] Freeze on quit game

I started playing around with 0.17 a bit, opened an old save, and when I tried to quit a few minutes later, it froze.

Log and save (0.16.51) attached. I'll have a memory dump for you in about 12 minutes or so (edit: or whenever google drive decides to stop sucking). Factorio's memory usage grew several times while task manager created the dump - I don't know if this is normal, but it was an interesting thing to note.

Unfortunately the log does not seem to show anything interesting and trying to replicate the problem didn't work.

Good idea on creating a dump. It should show exactly what was happening. Remember you can archive it to make it significantly smaller.

It's looks like some strange deadlock deep inside the sound library.
Probably not worth investigating further since it's not an issue we saw before.

Huh, interesting. I've tried a few things and I haven't been able to reproduce it, so I think you're good.
(it was a great first impression of 0.17, though :P)
