[2.0.21] Losing victory platform after winning the game breaks the UI
Posted: Sun Nov 24, 2024 1:25 am
Game version: 2.0.21 (Experimental at time of posting)
Steps to reproduce:
1. Look at the platform going to the solar system edge in Remote View.
2. Finish the game, prompting the victory UI + galaxy of fame panels to show up.
3. Let the platform get destroyed before confirming/continuing these UIs.
Expected behavior:
You can still interact with the game UI, be able to close the UI panels, and use any keybinds.
Actual behavior:
None of the UI elements are interactable (victory, galaxy of fame, hotbar, weapons/ammo, upper right buttons). Cannot open console, the escape menu, or debug options (F4). I can still move around on the surface that I was on when in remote view. I'm not sure if I can open inventories or interact with objects on the ground, as the victory UI covers everything within reach. I have to forcibly close the game to recover.
I have attached an autosave from about 10 minutes before the calamity, Fury being the platform heading to the edge. It _should_ make it out to the edge to replicate this issue, but we had to swap around targeting priorities at about 95km due to running out of ammo (which is how we hit this bug in the first place).
