[2.0.20] long space platform blueprint is getting trimmed

This was also happening in 2.0.15.
When building a space platform via blueprint but the platform is veeeery long, it will get trimmed.

Reproducing:
Use my blueprint on a new space platform.
You'll notice how you can't see the south part of it, and the requested materials are less than the ones in the blueprint.
If you let the ship build some of the space platform foundations, at some point you'll be able to paste the blueprint again and the bottom part will not be trimmed.

The expected behavior would be to not trim the bottom part of the space platform.

This is clearly a consequence of the map scrolling limits described in another bug report, ref 122153. Not sure if the devs consider it a bug or not.

Oh there's already a report about it. But yes it looks like the same problem.
I would consider it a bug, because the only way to have the full blueprint be built is with some kind of workaround (like building foundation north and south before pasting the blueprint, or pasting the blueprint and waiting for it to be built and then pasting it again after most of the foundations are laid out).

In other words, when I paste a space platform blueprint, I expect it to request everything needed and build itself over time, and in this case that's not happening.
When I look at the space platform after a while, it's missing the thursters and a bunch of other stuff down south

Were it working as you describe, paste a large blueprint, all its materials get requested, you may run into issue of items delivered in unfortunate order - belts, machines, and stuff filling the platform hub storage before platform foundations and cargo bays, as described in 119242 Prioritise Space Platform Construction Materials or 121977 Always request space platform foundation first.

For now I'd recommend to make two blueprints - one filled with machines, and one trimmed down to cargo bays, platform foundations under them and a stretch of foundations leading from the hub to the edges of the planned platform.
Then you repeatedly place the scaffold blueprint until it's fully built. After that the full blueprint should have no issues being placed and built.
