So when you have filters that says >Rare quality, and they are within view and you take off with a rocket. You can see them in the background when it is all black and only stars should show

You can escape the pull of gravity, but not the pull of quality !!

I noticed something similar with display panels. The text will still show from the starting surface even if nothing else is visible in the stars.

In my screenshot, the three "DISPLAY" lines are from display panels with "always show in alt mode" selected. The one "HIDDEN" line is from hovering my cursor over a display panel that does not have "always show in alt mode" selected. (The screenshot is from an editor-extension save, but I first noticed the issue in a completely unmodded game)

[edit: still occurs with version 2.0.19]

Hopefully this was fixed as part of viewtopic.php?p=634080#p634080

It's a good idea to check in the latest experimental before posting a bug report. Don't know why they haven't updated stable this week yet.

Unfortunately, it has not yet been fixed. My screenshot was made with 2.0.18 a few minutes before I posted it. I just now tested the same save with 2.0.19 (the most recent experimental release; updated 15 minutes ago) and it still happens, along with the quality inequality markings that EurypteriD posted.
