Quality indicator for icons put into pin names persist in production statistics, power statistics, player inventory and in game menu.

As far as i can tell this happens with all quality indicators in all items that i tried, but i have only tested a few of them.

Probably the same issue as this: 117647, in which case it is already fixed for the next release.

yeah seems like this is it !
I didn't find that other thread when searching if that issue was adressed before but it's nice to know it already is fixed
