[2.0.14] "Import From" filter unexpectedly changing when altering logistics group from cargo landing pad
Posted: Sun Nov 03, 2024 3:01 am
The issue:
Changing the quantity of a logistics group item request from a Cargo Landing Pad also unexpectedly changes the (hidden on the cargo landing pad) "Import From" planet filter.
For example I have a logistics group attached to a ship that flies between Vulcanus and Nauvis, and also attached the Nauvis cargo landing pad. When I change the quantity of an item in the logistics group via the cargo landing pad on Nauvis, it incorrectly changes the planet filter from Vulcanus to Nauvis.
Update 14th Nov: This happens when also changing the quality, not just the quantity.
Expected behavior:
I expect that I can change the quantity of an item in a cargo landing pad logistics group without the hidden "Import From" filter also changing with no user feedback.
Replication Steps:
From the attached save:
- Open the platform "BUGBUG", observe the logistics group "VulcanusNauvi" requesting 10 Artillery Shells from Vulcanus.
- Go to Nauvis surface, open the Cargo Landing Pad, observe the same "VulcanusNauvi" logistics group shared with the landing pad
- Change the request quantity from the cargo landing pad from 10 to 20 Artillery Shells
- Return to platform "BUGBUG", observe that the logistics group "VulcanusNauvi" changed both the quantity and the "Import From" filter, and is now trying to import 20 Artillery Shells from Nauvis not Vulcanus.
This was causing a lot of confusion before I noticed that this was the source of the filter changes, I think this isn't user error but either way it's frustrating as the planet filter is entirely hidden on the cargo landing pad, so I had no idea anything automatically changed.
