[1.1.59] Biters (unit group) that got lured away built nest at old spot

Post by Honktown »

1) biters nest
2) lure them away with high speed (I traveled over impassible landfill bridges)
3) come back
4) nest still builds with nothing nearby

I'm not sure how to reproduce the situation without issuing a build_base command. What did not work: high pollution+low absorption. Caused big biter circles that just... accrued members, despite low evolution and limited expansion group size.

Possibly caught on video - nests appear to spawn at the position of the original expansion group rather than at the biter itself. Vid below shows a medium biter on the left creating a base on the right.

Thanks for the report. Issue is now fixed for 1.1.70.

I was able to reproduce the issue using a UnitGroup with a BuildBase command set since the biter that was a member of this unit group had a distraction that allowed it to go away of the group while not preventing the UnitGroup from finishing its command.
