Lua Lint (Sytax Checker) for Notepad++ 64bit

Post by jamiechi1 »

Does anyone know where I can find a Lua Linter plugin for Notepad++ (NPP)? I found one online for 32bit NPP.
I suppose I could use VSCode, but it takes longer to load.

Also could use something that does a syntax check on the info.json file. Just missing a comma will give you a bad day. :ugeek:

Edit: I ended up using vscode-lua version 0.12.4 in the VSCode editor. For json files I now use JSONedit version 0.9.32.2. Both work great. With JSONedit I use the tree view to edit the .json files. I no longer have to worry about the stupid commas.

JSONedit is good. Haven't used lua in VScode. I typically use Notepad++

Dumb solution: install the 32-bit notepad++.

Looks like Eclipse can support Lua checking out of box: https://www.eclipse.org/ldt/
I have mods! I guess!
