Better MOD list admin help when loading saved games

When for instance switching from AngelsBobs to vanilla and then back again to my AB game, I would love to get some help from the game, so I easily can get exactly the same list of mods activated as I had last time when I saved the game.

Currently it seems like I get help on missing mods that I do not have activated that should be BUT it does not seem like I get some warning message saying that I have more mods activated compared to what is in the saved game.

I would like to have a easy to understand warning message saying BOTH what mods are new and which ones that are missing when loading a saved game, before I choose to load and start the game.

Such a feature would help A LOT if it existed!

What you can do is create a dummy mod with all the other mods you want as dependencies. You can also create a save with all the mods you want and use the sync mods with save button in the top right.

No I found it now when you told me. When hovering over this button it says

All required mods are enabled

But I would like it to say

All required and no other mods are enabled

Since it does not tell me that I have an exact match, I guess it does not check and tell me if I have too many mods enabled, right?

Yes: it will tell you which are enabled and not enabled, whether or not they should be, and let you configure them. Why don’t you look at it for yourself?

Yes great idea. Now I tested the "Sync mods with save" button. It shows me both what is missing and what is added! Great result! This is what I was looking for.

But the "Continue" button does not pop up that warning screen. I think that it should.

I think that all game loads/starts should pop up that mod-sync-warning message before continuing when there is a mismatch in the mod list. I think this would be a great feature for the 1.1 release.

They have already planned to add it to the continue screen somehow in next update
