I think a countdown of the remaining time at the current stop would be awesome (countdown before it leaves). Short and simple. Thanks!

Good idea.

I've thought of this before, and it would be really useful when dealing with trains.
Perhaps it should be made as something to be enabled in the options, and maybe only appears when alt is enabled (so people who don't like numbers appearing everywhere are happy).

I add here, that in the "list of train stations" the current station should be highlighted. I could think of some bar surrounding the current station and slowly filling with the time left as number. When the bar is full, the timer ends and train continues.

This is the feature I would definitly want to get implemented. You won't belive how many times I got run ower by the train that just started from the station. Becouse of that now I always wait for train to start before crossing the rails near train stations

i am currently working on a mod for this purpose with the help of some other people (thanks FreeER ). But it's far from usable and i'm not sure if it's possible in general.

I highly recommend it, if someone is playing with trains.
And I think for a later game version (v0.13 or so) the game will look like so and the display of time left is integrated here. Just want to mention it, nothing special else.

I would like to have a count down timer to show how long the train is going to be at this stop before moving on to the next.
