Make railroad signals character-sensitive!

==TL;DR==
Make rail signals behave to characters the same way they behave to other trains.
==Long version:==
I know a poll is alive regarding "How do you enjoy being killed by a train", and one of the answers have been just what I'm suggesting. (viewtopic.php?f=80&t=7717&p=146592#p146592)
As realistic as being violently smashed by a 200km/h half-a-ton block of steel is, it's also unpleasant to have it when you're intently focused on expanding your factory. If the factory is as convoluted as most of ours is (at least at the beginning), being murdered by something you don't even know what is until the "You've been defeated" message is kinda bummer.
So, my suggestion is, IF the player has some signals spread around the rails, make them *try* to turn red when the character crosses the rail ahead of it. That is, if a train is already in collision course with it, (i.e. yellow sign) don't magically break it. Realism in first place
Also, trains smashing biters are a joy to see, so... please keep it?
