[1.1.25] Pings should match color of players

Hi there! First time post, hope I'm putting it in the right place.
I've noticed in multiplayer, that Pings on the map always show on the map as an orange-y color. For all players.
Even if I change my player color to something else, the pings are the same default color.
It would be better I think if the pings could be the color of the player that was making them. That way especially if there are more than just a few, you can tell who is doing what ping on the map from a quick glance. Relatedly therefore, it would be cool for the color of the ping to match my own player color as well.
In the attached screenshot you can see that I am orange for my player color, and the other player (akagopher) is red. However all the (three) pings are the same orange color.
