Hello,

Right now it is possible to place ghosts from items by pressing shift. But when you use up all items in you inventory you can no longer use this feature. My suggestion is to enable placing item ghosts when selecting a quickbar slot which lacks items.

Enable the setting in Settings and it's implemented.
Settings - Interface - Interaction - Pick ghost item...

I think that having option on by default would cause confusion in new players and would even annoy veteran players which normally don't use the feature.

Btw. Did anybody saw my deaf-aid? I had put it near my walking cane, but now I don’t see it anywhere. Aaaah, perhaps I... I forgot to put on my glasses. I’m so oblivious.

I don't see AntiElitz, or Nefrums, or Phoenix using the feature. And I think they classify as veteran.

That's why you don't make absolute statements, all it takes is just one counter example to prove you wrong.

You mean you should GENERALLY not make absolute statements.

You're old, not obsolete

Also old while not obsolete veteran here, that auto-switch to ghost building is not for me.

Or they don't know about this feature like the OP.

I would also vote for on by default.

Personally, I think this feature is great, as soon as you have bots. Before, it can be a bit annoying.
I would vote for off by default and a hint to activate it, when you have researched bots

The joke is entirely on you for failing to recognize my parody of your faulty generalization about the "normal" behavior of "veteran" players that you think you can "proof" by naming a whooping three(!) random internet people. Instead of "disproving" other people try proving your own statements next time.

Edit: Unless you mean like..."(a small group of veteran players doesn't use the feature) + (that small group would be annoyed)". Which would be an equally weird argument using a minority to argue about default settings.

Edit2: I mean like...just in case you didn't notice: Your original sentence is ambigious and can also be read as "(all veteran players normally do not use the feature) + (thus all veteran players would be annoyed)".
