Implement an early game drone that assists with deconstruction

And it can kill trees. Perhaps at most it can carry a few inventory slots as well. Call it "entropy aggravation tech", or EAT for short.

Don't expect any robotics to come earlier in vanilla. If you want earlier robot, you'll have to rely on modding.

Early tree deconstruction = Grenades

Early entity deconstruction = Also grenades ;)

I've always wanted to see a mod that has compilatron as a companion follower with inventory and construction abilities, albeit slowly. I don't personally know near enough about modding to attempt that.

it's heckin OP. those bots are way too fast. they don't recharge. they're too powerful for vanilla.

I love, what they’re doing, could look at them for minutes. :) yes, overpowered, but only a bit.

This is another good early-game drone mod:

Unlike some of the others, it doesn't strike me as wildly overpowered. I think you only get 10 construction bots (and can't make more until you get the technology), and they're fairly slow, but they do save you the trouble of building/deconstructing everything by hand.

I'm not aware of any mod that has bots only for deconstruction, though.

rseding91's termites mod helps with forests in a pinch
