TL;DR
Mousing-over an item in your inventory will cause the logistic request slot the requests it to highlight and flash.

What ?

Why ?
The logistic request screen can get crowded as can your inventory. This suggestion would make it easy to find the logistic requests that are causing items to be in your inventory. This would make inventory management easier.
Thank You!
Thank you for your consideration of this idea. Also, thank you for making this game, it has brought so much joy to my life.

TL;DR
When you hover over an item in your inventory the corresponding request slot get highlighted.

What ?
When you hover over the logistic Request ihe items in your inventory get highlighted.
It would be nice, if this works the other way too.
Or maby also, if you hace an item in your curser.
Why ?
When you have lots of request slots it can get quite messy.
Therefore it would help to see the Slot, where you requested the Item to change it around.

when hovering an item in the inventory highlight that item if in the logistics requests.

especially usefull when having mods installed and a lot of items.

alternatively add a sort option to the logistic requests.

I like the idea of auto sorting logistics requests. Maybe they can be put in rows like the crafting menu.

@AmericanPatriot: there are suggestions about it:
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=18993 New Feature: Allow reordering logistics requester slots (OLD!)
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=85677 Make logistic requests draggable to a new position

Please comment there. :)

Blinking logistics vice versa

What did you do?
With open user inventory I move cursor to existing item and want to change logistic query, but it not blinking as if I move cursor to logistics section.

What did you expect to happen instead? It might be obvious to you, but do it anyway!
While I move cursor to chracter inventory or quick-bar slot I expect blinking item in logistic grid

highlight items when hovering logistic requests

Hi,

currently if you have a logistic request for X and "go over it" it highlights the item in your inventar, nice!

i would suggest:

1.) please also highlight the item in your inventar when you go over it in the build menue, easier to find what you need
2.) what about doing the opposite of what its currently doing, so when you go over the item, highlight the request...?

Blasphemous! :)

(Would be great. I feel alway like an idiot, when I try to add an item that is already added and I don’t see it.)

Reverse blinking in inventory

TL;DR
Highlights relevants buttons when hovering over item in inventory.

What ?
When hovering over a logistics slot or crafting button, any existing items in your inventory start blinking.
My suggestion is to also include the reverse. When hovering over an inventory item, show the relevant logistics slot and crafting button.

Why ?
In extremely large mods, even ctrl+f can become tedious when dealing with hundreds of items with several similar icons. This would be a tiny timesaver that could quickly add up over time.

+1, often it is tiresome to find the request, even in vanilla.
