Hello!
I love this game. But not programming in it. Are you planning to remake the logic elements into something closer to microcontrollers in the real world? There are a bunch of examples of industrial solutions, Siemens, Rockwell, Yokogawa. And if there are no graphic languages, then why not add Assembler?
If you decide to try, then I promise any help in these systems. =)
With hope :D

You can mod factorio using lua.

https://lua-api.factorio.com/latest/index.html

https://www.lua.org/manual/5.3/manual.html

And here's an example of a "microcontroller" combinator chip mod: https://mods.factorio.com/mod/circuitchips
