TL;DR

Option to replace first menu upon game opening with quick play menu to start playing faster

What ?

The quick play menu can contain the following self explanatory options
[Resume last game, Reconnect to last server, Mods, Options, Main Menu]

This can be added as a checkbox in the options to enable

Why ?

This is for players who are invested in a single world or single server, and would optimize the amount of time it takes from opening the game to playing the actual game. Currently it takes 3 clicks to rejoin a single player world, 5 clicks to join a public server as you have to navigate through the menus, find the server you want, then join it, and 4 clicks to directly connect to a server.

I personally feel that this would be a great quality of life addition

Wouldn't it feasible to just have a 'Continue' entry as the first (and default) entry in the main menu, and have that either load your last single-player save, or reconnect to your last multiplayer session?

In that case, once the main menu has loaded, you only need hit enter to start playing.

As far as I know, you would need to touch nothing else to add the feature.

I like both of these suggestions.
