Wrong zoom steps in map view

Hi folks, in FFF-204 you mentioned that you changed the zoom increments so they perfectly shows 1.0 and 2.0 graphics:
Related to HR entities, It turned out that our zooming system never showed an exact zoom of 2.0, which would be the 'pixel perfect' zoom level for the HR entities. By changing the zoom rate from 1.1, to the 7th root of 2 (1.104089...), the zoom now increments perfectly from 1.0 to 2.0 in 7 steps.
However it can be seen that this certainly does not apply to zooming in the map view, there the steps goes through 0.888, 1.110, 1.388, 1.735, 2.168 so the result is not as sharp as it is in normal game view.

Do you think that something could be done about it?

Hi guys, any update?

This is a perfect example of game glitch to fix before 1.0 version release.
Honestly, I don't understand why there is this zooming behavior difference between map and game view in the first place.

I thought the zoomed in map view was intentionally 'fuzzy' as you are supposed to be looking at remote data from the radar.

Correct. OP, however, is referring to the detail loss from filtering at non-integer zoom, namely 2.168x.
