Pacifying agent - alternative to peaceful mode.

Hello!
I would like to see a pacification agent added to the game. The mechanic would take power to maintain, and would act a a sort of counter-pollution, pacifying the biters instead of angering them.
On a reddit post I posted about this idea as a response to what could water surfaces be used for.
I imagine it could be implemented as micro-algae farms, they could look like green solar panels (and be just as big) and placeable only on water. Then, when powered, they would produce an item or fluid (micro-algae) that another building would pulverize into the air to produce a "cloud" of pacifying agent (similar to pollution). With enough of it biters would ignore pollution and stay peaceful, or amybe this substance could cancel pollution by itself.

Sounds pretty nice. Maybe this could also be some kind of removing the pollution instead of creating a "pacifer" for the aliens. This "algea farms" suck up pollution from the air and creates some kind of "hard pollution", an item which contains all the pollution. This can be stored in chests. If one chest is destroyed which does contain this items, the whole pollution will be released in one big cloud. No pollution = no angry biters. Well, at least that should be the case. If we don't pollute their home, they should not feel threatened by us. Don't know if this idea was already mentioned. ^^

Don't know what you mean with "yes". That this idea was already mentioned?

I posted about this on this reddit post:

My reply (copy&paste) was:
I would be happy with floating paths, belts and micro-algae farms.
Micro algae can be used to either constantly pulverize (in a turret-like structure) close to biter-nests to keep them docile, or spent in metal&glass tree-looking devices to actively reduce pollution.
Micro algae farms totally look like floating, green solar panels, btw.

Algae farm:
Building, to be placed on a shore.
Requires power.
Converts a bordering water tile into algae.
Algae grow, even if the farm is missing/unpowered.
Algae increase the local chunk's pollution absorption.
Algae farms can produce fuel (or food), depending on the number of bordering algae tiles.
BUT: Algae are a water contaminant, reducing the effectivity of water pumps in some way or another.
Also: Some form of artificial pool?

I second this idea, it's a great use of unused space plus a funny addition to the game!
