TL;DR
robot tile deconstruction jobs aren't being handled separately from entity deconstruction jobs, this prevents entity deconstruction due to a large number of tile deconstruction jobs.
What ?
In 0.17.0 there was a change that seperated the construction of tiles from the construction of entities.
Tile construction jobs are being handled by robots separately from entity building jobs, to prevent entity ghosts not being built due to large number of tile ghosts.
The same should be done for deconstruction
Why ?
  • Well first it is a nice QOL improvement even if it is a case that only appears seldom in normal play.
  • It isn't very intuitive that the deconstruction behaviour of bots is different then the behaviour while construction/placement which can and will lead to confusion of even very experienced factorio players. Thus this change would improve the user experience
