Assemblers and circuit network

TLDR: Assemblers could be able to send and receive signals from the circuit network.
Description:
People are capable of building glorious things using circuit fucketry. My proposal is, that assemblers should be able to send signals to circuit network such as working/not-working, current recipe, inventory and receive signals such as work-if-condition-is-met or set-input-signal-as-recipe. A great bonus would be if inserters could reverse if particular signal is received.
Why:
I had an idea about electronic circuit factory with alternating systems, where assemblers make copper wires and store them in chests and when the chests are full they start making circuits. However this is currently not possible.
