TL;DR

In real life solar panels energy output depend of the weather

What ?

I know that factorio do not simulate the weather but I can see at least clouds in the game and In real life clouds decreases the energy output of a solar panel and i think that will add more unpredictible situations to the game and will make the energy management more interesting.

Why ?

I think that add more interesting energy management because solar will not be a stable source of energy.
