An option to choose which mod shoud be updated or not

Hey out there,
may it be possible to create an option to choose which mod should be updated or not?
I like your game very much, playing it now for over 200 hours or so, but every time I want to update my mods I have to copy several older mods back I don't want to loose. Thats anoying... espacially If you use round about 100 mods.
I would prefer a solution like searching for every update and then marking the mods you really want to update.
Or is there an exsisting solution I found not yet?
