Oceans,Lakes,Ponds Should drain

I think it would be cool if you could drain a whole lake over time, it would make water not this infinite source of steam, and also have use for water barrels and water-tanks, plus a drained lake should add some pollution because you drained a lake! I think that when the lake is drained it should be a crater in the land that you can fill in with the land things you can craft and thus you've used the water resource and then you can use the land for space.
