TL;DR

Please give us the ability to hide or split the quickbar / toolbelt rows.

What ?

Please give us the option of splitting extra rows to the sides, or hiding them using a hotkey.

Why ?

With not everyone having 4k monitors and mods giving us the ability of having many rows, the rows become way too big in the bottom middle of the screen.

Also, there are times when I want to take screenshots without having those (vanilla / modded) bars coming in the screenshot.

for screenshots use set it to true to bring it back.

that's a lot of toolbars.
even with the 4 rows in my mods, it can be quite intrusive, and I would like the ability to be 2 rows of 20 instead of 4 rows of 10.

an auto hiding quckbar would be good for your quickbar addicts.

+1 to the idea of longer toolbars, so you could have more toolbar slots with only 2 toolbars.

i know you want this in Vanilla, as do i (auto hide),
but check out [MOD 0.16] Inventory Quickbar
uses the left side of the screen where you have more real estate.

Someone stole my idea again and released a prototype before i had time to polish my own version to perfection :P.

+1 for wide quickbars and autohide in vanilla.

I found this mod a few days ago and though it has a few bugs, I like it.
I've reduced my 8 toolbelts to 3 .. and added 75 slots on the side

Thought I'll come and update this, darn notifications weren't enabled.. missed that you posted it ONE day after that mod was made!! :@

you can change to "Notify me upon replies by default:" in Board Preferences which should be on by default in my opinion.
