YES!

I personally think that it's a great idea but maybe the developers should work on the combat system first.

Sure. Like I said, I wanted to give it a go, but I want to create some new buildings that work in a unique way. Like the crusher that goes over the conveyor belts, but I couldn't figure out where the code that regulated the rules of transporter belts is.

Aye, you're probably right. That's a more fundamental, pressing issue. And that'll help address the issue of setting up outposts become repetitive. Still, I think having advanced ore processing will help the long-term future of Factorio.

This would be a bit difficulty. I start with probably arround the next weekend.

I had the same idea like you. I find ore processing to be very simplistic in factorio so i made a mod. It is a work in progress but the production line for iron and copper is in place. It just needs some tweaking, some more features like the chemicals needed for the copper line and some custom graphics would be nice.
