Technology tree for the enemy force

TL;DR
A technology tree for the enemy force to replace the current evolution factor based system.
WHY?
Infinite research. The player can infinitely research bullet damage, bullet speed and other combat elements. Aliens quickly melt away leaving no reason to further research those technologies. Unlike the player's technology, alien evolution stops at one point. It reached 100% and that is their top level which is quickly overwhelmed by the player. After that, they cease having a purpose. Currently, even trains don't suffer from them. They become nothing. My idea is to use the already in-place technology system for aliens to make them forever evolve into more resistant and powerful variations. With this, they will never stop getting better.
WHAT?
  • Forces that have the "ai_controllable" flag enabled automatically start a new technology upon researching the previous.
  • Pollution driven research: Alien nests advance the force's research (instead of evolution factor) when collecting pollution, or getting wrecked.
  • A technology tree for the enemy force. All sorts of research for biters and spitters, worms and nests. Since these are not visible to the player, they do not need to be localized and they don't require graphics. This should be completely separate from the player's research, and should also include infinite techs.
