Splitter that reverses direction of one line

It'd be somewhat nice to see logistics research grant a splitter that reverses the output direction of the line that isnt opposite the input line

With all the kind of splitters I am missing, I don't even know what this kind would be good for. Especially since you need only like 4 additional belts to mimic the desired behaviour by going around the splitter.

I guess its just the way I set up my factories, your idea above is similar to what I do. However I wish I could be simpler

Devs stated multiple times that they will never implement anything new that can already be accomplished using existing tools. The main point in Factorio is creating complex things from basic elements.

I agree. However, it would be nice to be able to do things like dynamically reversing the direction of inserters/belts using the circuit network. If such things were possible, the request of the OP would also be satisfied.

Currently you can easily visually distinguish how any mechanism works even from screenshot with exception of circuit network. Making inserters and belts reverse will just make mechanisms bizarre imo.

A cool idea, but I don't think that it would be worth the effort involved to get it into the game.
However, a mod based around this would be cool!
