Place power poles while running - extend behavior to ghosts?

TL;DR
You can place power poles at perfect spacing while running. This behavior should be extended to power pole ghosts.
What ?
If you are placing power poles and hold down the mouse button while running, they will automatically be placed in a nice line at perfect spacing. But, if you try the same thing in ghost build mode, you wind up with power pole ghosts placed right next to each other. The ghosts should behave the same as the actual poles.
Why ?
The fatal flaw in placing poles while running is trees. Ghosts go through trees, so you would be able to place long runs of poles through wooded areas without constantly stopping to work around trees, or using annoyingly large blueprints with multiple power poles.

Ghost cursor: Place poles and underground belts/pipes at max spacing when dragging cursor

When placing poles and underground belts/pipes with the normal cursor, you can easily place them at max spacing by holding down the mouse button and running (or by moving the cursor). Underground belts/pipes will also be rotated correctly.
The ghost cursor on the other hand places a ghost of the entity on every single tile, and underground belts/pipes won't be rotated.
It would be nice if both cursors displayed the same behavior.
