I feel like some sort of watercraft or air vehicle would be useful. Any kind, either personal like the car or for transport like trains, and would add more realism to Factorio and attract more players.

There are a couple mods for water craft; one doesn't have graphics(Ocean Liners), and the old is out of date and actually only works on land (Ships)

There is Helicopters
and Trucks but that one you have to edit the info.json to fix the game version, and the author is not contactable.

This, and maybe add a wooden boat to starting player inventory, in case of 4x4 tile island spawn. :3

But in all seriousness, i feel like lakes are more of a hassle than anything else right now, so it would be cool if you could traverse larger bodies of water with additional vehicles and such.
