When a player dies to biters, or just in a vicinity of biter nest, biters should quickly dispose of the body, and drag all player's items into their hives.

Then the player has to destroy the spawners in order to retrieve his stuff.

This is a hilarious idea.

How about biters using any weapons & armor they find? Thus creating Hero Biters.

What about making biters capable of building anything they destroy? Like, biters only attack you because they want your technology, and they only get your technology by demolishing it. If a biter manages to destroy something and then run back to its nest, then that nest gains the ability to build the thing it destroyed. And the knowledge spreads to surrounding nests with time...

And biters have the distinct advantage of not needing a factory or materials to build anything
