Generating map looks like the game might be stuck

TL;DR
When starting a new game and clicking to generate the map it feels like the game might be stuckWhat ?
Show a splash screen or dialog, preferably with progress bar, while generating the map.Why ?
When starting a new game you get the nice dialog for all the myriad of options for the map generator. Then when you click Generate the button is just stuck and nothing happens for a while. Then the game starts.I don't expect anything complex here, nothing that would cost CPU and steal from the map generator doing it's job. But why not change to a splash screen or a dialog "Generating map" with a progress bar. I'm sure the map generator has several steps that could update the progress bar so it moves from 0% to 100%.
