I would like a way to select which ore to extract, this would aid in the extraction of ore.

Sometimes there are two types of ore together.

There are several ways to sort ore once mined.

Although this is valid information, that's not what he asked.

As far as I know there is no method to make sure you mine only one ore type from a batch close together. all you can really do is work around the border to not mine in the overlap areas.
