Some general thoughts and ideas

First off, let me say how much I am enjoying Factorio. It is an awesome game, and the 0.15 improvements brought a whole lot of new life to the game.
With that, here are some thoughts and ideas on improvements to the gameplay:

Blueprints
• An Edit/Create Tool for managing blueprints without having to build it first
• A way to cancel removal of items marked with the deconstruction planner
• “As Upgrade” to allow adding modules, change to faster belts, etc.
• Manager – A tree view (single leaf) to see all your blueprints without stepping into and out of books
• Mirror/Flip
• Need a way to destroy empty blueprints from your inventory
• When using a book, it is a copy rather than as a reference. Update to the blueprint library are not reflected in the book that is in inventory
• A blueprint toolbelt would be very useful. Inventory slots 6-0 instead of 1-5?
• An option where placing blueprints marks removal of trees/rocks for you

Trains
• Elevated Tracks/Tunnels for faster track crossings
• Named Trains
• Reusable routes assigned to multiple trains. This would enable 4 trains running same route, and route changes are applied to all 4 at once

Robot Network
• Job Priorities would allow you to reorder bots. Not sure on how to implement best.
• Large inventories are not visible by hovering on a chest as they scroll off the page. Need a way to see total logistics network storage.
• Ability to request auto-upgrade of belts, etc. (I.e. please upgrade all yellow to red belts)

Utility
• Having switchable toolbar quick setups would allow for switching filters for building trains vs. logistics vs. new production areas. Items no longer in filters move to main inventory.
• Filtered slots should be filled if item is dropped in wrong slot or exists in main inventory instead of being empty/below max count
• A way to split stacks by picking counts would be useful when you need 5 out of 100
• When crafting items, I find myself wanting to reorder the personal production queue without having to cancel everything.
• I can’t seem to find a way to see progress for science research. I see the bar, but not a count along the lines of 156/300.
• Is there a way to see maximum available power? This would be useful for planning expansion of power networks. Running 0.15, I am always at around 35% as the turbines spin up more and more the more power I draw.

Factorio is a great game, and with a few additions can be even more awesome. :)
