I get reports like this quite often: viewtopic.php?f=51&t=47166 This is useful.
And then for DAYS after fixing the bug I get reports like this viewtopic.php?f=51&t=45001&start=260#p272290 which isn't helpful anymore because the bug is already fixed. I know he's just trying to help, but when this keeps happening, it can get a little annoying.

Don't get me wrong, the option to disable a faulty mod is a good thing, but currently the only way to get passed this error message is to disable the mod, possibly disable other mods that also error on load until you finally get into the game, check for updates, download and restart.

If there was the ability to enter the mods screen to do all the usual mod editing things, or just check mods for updates while the game is in an unloadable state, it would save a lot of agro for modders, and people trying to play these broken mods. It could also allow you to update the game itself if an update is available, there's really no need to load the entire game to do a check like this.

Alternate (And probably better) solution, Add a game launcher, which can check for updates, and allow you to download, update and manage mods without loading the whole game. This way you can get your game up to date and modded without having to wait 2 minutes each time the game wants to restart between steps. (Yes, my game often takes that long to load with all my mods installed)
