overheat and cooling

the turrets in factorio could keep firing as long as there is ammo(power)
however, in real life, they will be overheating without ways of cooling
so if we add overheating and cooling system to turrets, some more fun may happen
when the turrets firing, their temperature increase. when they stop firing, their temperature decrease. and if temperature is too much higher, they become overheating, and they are forced to stop firing until their temperature came back to a normal range.
so at the beginning of the game, and the worms are not too much, the turrets can handle the heat as they worn’t firing too long, and the player can build multiple turrets to keep firing power while some of them are in overheating state.
later in the game, turrets has to use cooling system to keep firing for long time.the turrets has two interface for liquids, one way in and one way out, when there are liquids passes by, liquids temperature goes on but can lower the temperature of the turret they pass by.
so then the player will build pipes thew the turrets, and fill cold water with it, and when turrets are firing, hot water came out. player can use a cooling tower to cool the water(like old burners, decrease temperature though) while losing some part of water. and they can pump the cooled water back to turrets to form a cooling cycle.
at this point, the turrets can firing long enough until they run out of cool water. so this will encourage the player to build the turrets near their base, rather then creeping to the hives, as building turrets with cooling system is much harder and requires water
and later in the game, we may get some tech like “cooling liquid”, which is a bit expensive then water, but don’t get loss while pass through cooling tower, making the turrets system easier to build.
so the defense would evolved like:
turrets <— overheating
multiple turrets <— overheating in turns
multiple turrets <— overheating in turns
turrets with water run through <— overheating slow
turrets with water cooling system <— no overheating, but consume water
turrets with cooling liquid cooling system <— no overheating, build any where (but still much harder near enemy)
