More Info button

I always keep info button (alt) toggled on.

But sometimes i notice myself hovering over, for example, my electric mining drills to see how much coal is left before my factory stops.

My suggestion, is a More Info Button.

when holding shift with alt toggled on, (example button) It will show more info on items.
More info includes things such as:
-expected resources from drills
-Ammunition in gun turrets
-Available robots on roboport
-Numbers! Numbers next to the items on chests to show how much. (maybe only for chests containing one item)
-Numbers! Next to my Storage Tanks to see how much fluid is in them

-While mouse over a electric pole, Show a small info tab instead of looking at the large graph

-When on the map, (hotkey M) Show a numerical number of pollution.
-Grid the map with maybe green outlines (showing each chunk individually)

More possible additions that may fog up the users screen
-percentage of production on steam engines
-electric usage on electric poles.

There can be a lot more this could do.
And honestly, this could even be a mod, but i think it will do well in the game.

- most stuff already shows info when you hover.
- have you tried the debug mode? Keys f4-f7.

I didn't know about the debug keys, but after messing around with this, some things are not as clean (because its a debug mode) as a simple glance could be by pressing a simple button/combo

It's a debug mode. The game is still alpha. Use it and tell here, what view exactly you are missing.

If your "level of view" is useful, it will be included to the game later. Much later.

That's the way how game development works: you can use it, and only if it is really useful, it is really included. :)

You don't have to tell me about game development, i know all about it ;)

I posted the suggestion for the people like me who really like their information. But we want to see it fast so it needs to be clean.

And modules. Finding that one mine of 20 that has no modules inside is such a pain.
