Domesticating biters.

I'd like to see the ability to domesticate biters. Maybe have them fight for you, keep them as pets or use them in some kind of power generation.

I'm thinking a large biter in a hamster wheel could generate enough power to power an entire base. :p But more realistically some sort of bio mass power generation thing.

they could also be used in farms when food is eventually added. Although I would think that they would be a perk for having low pollution

And when finding the rare item "whip", we could get them to make a biter pyramid.

Seriously, I totally agree to get different ways to deal with enemies, as I suck killing them. Although I'm afraid that using biters to generate energy would not suit the character / game feeling. It just looks like slavery...

Edit : but perhaps that's because I don't understand "bio mass power generation thing" which is certainly a super-fair way to generate energy from alien
