Train horn .

I think that it would be nice to hear the train horn when the locomotive stops and starts muves from the station.
I wanted to remind also this

Why you want to know if a train reach or leave a station? If the trains run fine, let them do their work, quiet. Maybe if they had a problem they could honk for help. I don't know if their comes a warning triangle in the gui already.
And if the train honks for reach or leave a station, you don't know which train in which station it was, beacause their is no option to locate the origin of the sound.
I believe, after the mid game with a huge amount of trains supply your mainbus you become insane when it honks every few seconds

I suppose you could only hear the honk of a train close to you kind of like how you only hear the sounds of nearby assemblers and such.
