Steam power idea [0.15-0.16]

TL;DR: Steam powered early game machines
Actually it's fine how the system is doing in the early game, but (as a hardcore player) I think it's way too simple. So I heard the steam will come into play, and we could built it in the early game too. Just some simple stuff, nothing else. I hope there will be a complete rebalance before 0.16, so it could be no problem to use that.
The other thing is: the early game is too short.
